The Smart Office BU specializes in the design of large-scale smart offices, offices within high-tech industrial complexes, and bio-related and GMP (good manufacturing practice) facilities, proposing unique designs and eco-friendly future spaces by integrating cutting-edge technologies. It is composed of a Smart Office team that provides efficient space-utilization solutions through advanced technologies, and an Advanced Bio & Defense Industries team that participates in the nation’s 12 strategic projects.

The unit seeks to expand its presence in the architectural market by responding to the continuously evolving future and trends in architecture. Through large-scale projects such as office and support facilities within the SK Hynix Yongin Cluster, Samsung Biologics Plant 6 in Songdo, and the Songdo Campus for the global bioscience company Sartorius Korea, the unit creates healthy spaces imbued with its own identity.
