Cluster 1, led by Seunghwan Choi, comprises the Value-Add BU, which specializes in mixed-use development at the urban block level; the Complex Cluster BU, which designs large-scale retail-focused commercial facilities; the Mix Solution BU, which organically addresses mixed-use (MIX) programs based on mixed-use facilities and cultural content facilities; the Residential Complex BU, which designs residential and mixed-use residential complexes; the Healthcare BU, which specializes in medical facilities such as smart hospitals and the improvement and establishment of healthcare environments; the Lifestyle Creation BU, which creates new lifestyles centered on mixed-use commercial facilities; and the JDI BU, a strategy-focused design department.

In addition, the Operations Support Center SU, which I oversee, is a strategic unit that supports the design division’s business units (BU) in becoming an organic organization that generates synergy through collaboration. It consists of the Project Support Team, which assists with individual project tasks; the BU Support Team, which helps establish key policies and systems for the division, fosters talent development, and facilitates communication among BUs; and the JALLY Team, which provides systematic support to partner companies.

Leader Seunghwan Choi, having worked at Seoul Architecture and Seunghwan Choi Architects, currently serves as the SU Leader for Cluster 1 and the Operations Support Center. He has primarily led large-scale mixed-use projects such as Lotte World in Shenyang, China; the Yonsei University Songdo International Complex; and Incheon International Airport Terminal 2, developing the ability to integrate diverse functions and scales into a unified order. He has also driven organizational growth while serving as Head of the Design Division and Group Leader. He believes that architecture is realized at the intersection of constructive logic and spatial imagination, and that it possesses value that transcends time and environment. Based on this belief, he aims to take the lead in enhancing the quality of cities and life through the realization of high-quality architecture.
