Built in the Sogong-dong First Redevelopment Zone, this project was co-designed with Japan’s Daisei Construction, with the two axes enveloping the plaza in front of City Hall adopted as its design motif. 

Having opened on October 1, 1976, the hotel underwent renovation in November 2010, and is currently operated by Hanwha Hotels & Resorts Co., Ltd.
