Having accumulated collective housing design experience through numerous staff housing projects, Junglim Architecture began collaborating with the Korea National Housing Corporation (now Korea Land & Housing Corporation: LH) from the late 1970s. Leveraging its unique capability among domestic firms at the time to handle high-rise apartment designs, Junglim undertook the unit plans and elevations for Dunchon Jugong Apartments and Dogok Jugong Apartments. Thereafter, Junglim continued with LH’s high-rise apartment projects, including Gwachon Jugong Apartments, Hannam-dong Foreigners’ Apartments, and standard high-rise apartment planning.
