Led by Leader Sangyun Lee, the Operation & Marketing SU is a convergence strategy unit established to astutely respond to the rapidly-changing industrial environment, technological advancements, and increasingly complex customer demands. It plays a key role in sector operation and marketing through rapid decision-making, establishing integrated mid- to long-term future strategies from an organizational perspective, and designing and managing the execution system and its performance. As a platform organization that organically connects the business areas from planning through project acquisition and execution to operation, the Marketing team analyzes market conditions and client needs to proactively identify emerging opportunities, maximizing project acquisition through close support of business units. The Operation team secures the sector’s sustainability by optimizing cost and profit management, streamlining personnel and resources, and managing the achievement of business plan goals. The integration of these two pillars enables the establishment of differentiated execution capabilities and predictable systems. In addition, through talent discovery and development based on expertise and execution power, and organizational culture improvement, the unit creates distinctive competitiveness across the entire advanced design sector.

Lee earned a master’s degree in architectural and urban design from Sungkyunkwan University’s Graduate School of Design, having studied under the late architects Kim Seokchul and Joh Sung-yong. Joining Junglim Architecture in 2003, he is a founding member of the Residential Division and has worked for over 20 years as a residential design specialist, acting as a project manager and senior team leader for self-acquired projects. He contributed to major organizational changes in Junglim through the New HR System TFT in 2015 and the New Sector Establishment PMO in 2023. As of 2024, he leads the Operation & Marketing SU, overseeing operation and marketing in the advanced design sector. Personally, Lee supports corporate social responsibility (CSR) with a keen interest in creating common social value (CSV) alongside economic profit. He focuses research on participatory community housing and PC modular construction methods for housing disaster victims of wildfires and earthquakes. Additionally, he actively pursues new business opportunities, including real estate development projects for employee community housing.
