The Advanced Design Sector, overseen by CEO Myungjin Lee, was established to respond to the rapid changes of industries by focusing on Industry 4.0 and advanced technology. It comprises the High-Tech BU, specialized in the design of advanced industrial facilities related to energy and environment such as semiconductors and batteries; the Smart Office BU, focusing on major smart offices and bio-related facilities; the Mobility BU, dedicated to mobility-friendly infrastructure design; and the Big-Tech BU, responsible for architectural design of data centers and climate-change-related infrastructure required by ICT companies. The sector also includes two strategic units: the Operation & Marketing SU and the Design SU.

Having joined Junglim Architecture in 2004, Lee has led design in both design labs and design groups, participating in various works across office, educational/research, healthcare, and data center types. His major projects include the SK Hynix Yongin Semiconductor Cluster, Naver Data Center Gak Sejong, Hyundai Motor High-Tech Center, Kakao Jeju Agit, Ewha Womans University Medical Center and College of Medicine, Wonju Severance Christian Hospital, UNIST Battery Industry-Academic R&D Center, Daegu Bank Second Headquarters, and SK Seorin Building New Workplace Consulting. CEO Lee aims to foster a pioneering design group that actively responds to industrial and environmental issues through future technology and scientific process, leading innovation in the era of Industry 4.0 and global environmental concerns.
