Led by Leader Jeongtaek Ahn, the Big-Tech BU was launched with the data center as its seed project, to contemplate architecture demanded by ICT companies under the keywords “technology, environment, and people.” The unit strives to be a group of architectural experts preparing for the future, mulling over the coexistence of people amid rapidly-advancing technology and rapidly-changing environment.
Having majored in architectural design (MA) at the Catholic University of America, Ahn joined Junglim Architecture in 2004 where he has worked on a variety of projects requiring expertise. He has focused intensively on designing data centers ranging from leased urban data centers to company-owned ones, including SK Broadband IDC Gasan, Naver Data Center Gak Sejong, ST Telemedia Seoul 1 Data Center in Gasan, and KAAM Square IDC Ansan. Currently serving as the Big Tech BU leader, he recently has been involved in seawater rise response projects, applying his philosophy, thought, and practical experience related to technology and environment.
