Yojin Y City in Songsan Green City is the first residential project where Junglim Architecture collaborated with Yojin Construction Industry. Songsan Green City is the largest new town in the Seoul metropolitan area, developed by the Korea Water Resources Corporation (currently K-Water) around Songsan-myeon, Namyang-eup, Hwaseong City near Lake Sihwa, covering approximately 54.62 million sq. m. It features green landscapes such as Mt. Bongseondae, Mt. Haemyeong, and Ansan Reed Wetland Park, along with waterside scenery following Lake Sihwa.
With the concept of “a complex embracing Lake Sihwa,” the entire complex was designed so that residents can enjoy views of the lake from all 688 units. The site is located in the east sector of the ecological district and adjoins residential complexes, neighborhood parks, and industrial zones. The complex’s northwest-to-southeast view axis was emphasized, with a mixed arrangement of slab-type and tower-type residential buildings. This layout secures plazas and open spaces while balancing constructability and feasibility.
