Samyang Distribution Center, Cheonan

The Samyang Corporation Cheonan Distribution Center is a project to build a new CDC (Central Distribution Center) for Samyang Corporation, linking and integrating 11 nationwide bases. The first floor is planned as a low-temperature logistics center for frozen and refrigerated cold chain food materials, while the second floor is designed as an ambient temperature logistics center with a live load capacity of 3 to 5 tons per square meter.

To ensure efficient logistics flow while securing additional expansion space, vehicle entrances and exits for each floor were separately installed by utilizing approximately a 9-meter level difference on the site. The two floors are staggered in section, creating a pilotis space on the first floor. A double slab was installed beneath the low-temperature logistics center to overcome temperature conditions around 20°C. Support facilities are designed with reinforced concrete structure, the first floor uses precast concrete structure, and the second floor is planned with a standard steel structure, matching the functions of each area.
