Led by Leader Myungjin Kim, the Renovation & Office Facilities BU specializes in heritage and legacy-based renovation projects and office facilities. The unit also undertakes ESG-related projects, implementing the value of sustainable architecture. Current projects include Lotte Confectionery Yeongdeungpo Project, Doosan Building in Nonhyeon-dong, Lotte Department Store Bundang, Namsan Green Building, Gongdeok Station-area Vitalization Project, JaeHwa Square, and NICE Holdings Office Building.
Kim joined Junglim Architecture in 2008 where she served successfully as a PM and a senior team leader managing many public and private renovation and office facility projects before becoming the leader of the Renovation & Office Facilities BU. Drawing on her extensive planning skills and technical know-how developed through years of leading renovation and office projects, she transforms potential values discovered from each project into balanced design, functional, and structural solutions. Notable projects include the National Museum of Korean Contemporary History, Jeonil Building 245, Gwangju Nam-gu Government Complex remodeling, SK Autoway Tower, Metro Tower remodeling (GS Station Tower), SK Seorin Building, and The-K Hotel Convention Center. Kim believes architecture must be sustainable, embracing its inherent heritage while revitalizing legacy through new expression.
