The Kumkang Kind Office Building in Gwacheon is a knowledge industry center project initiated in 2017 through a project-financing competitive bid and completed in July 2024. It currently serves as the headquarters where Kumkang Kind and its five affiliated companies operate. Kumkang Kind upholds a corporate philosophy that leads ESG management in harmony with the local community. Accordingly, from the PF planning stage, the design aimed to harmonize with the surrounding landscape and contribute to the public and local community, completing a plan that deeply considers a healthy human environment.
Public contribution facilities provided at the Gwacheon office building include a workplace daycare center, an open library, a fitness center, a corporate PR room, and startup incubation facilities. Particularly, the workplace daycare center was designated a best practice by Gwacheon City, attracting significant public interest. These facilities are located on the first and second basement floors to maximize accessibility and usability for all local residents. Also, the daycare center’s playground is situated on the first floor, and outdoor spaces are allocated throughout for employees working indoors. These green and rest areas are maximized to create spaces where diverse users can find respite amid the busy urban environment.
