IPARK Avenue, Wirye

Wirye New Town was developed with the concepts of a high-tech eco-city, a rich historic and cultural city, and a symbiotic city where people coexist. The C1-3 block site, where the I-Park Wirye Phase 1 will be built, is the first sold complex among the four Transit Mall blocks in the new town’s central commercial area. Leveraging its position at the junction of residential and central commercial zones, the development focuses on revitalizing the local community and optimizing the residential environment. From the site layout stage, emphasis was placed on eco-friendly residential design considering south-facing orientation, ventilation, and views; activation of the commercial environment through alignment with the Transit Mall; and diverse external space planning considering surrounding connections.

The façade design implements varied design systems on protruding balconies located on the front, rear, and sides. From a landscape planning perspective, varied building heights and forms — from symbolic 7-story buildings to slab-type 19 to 24-story towers — were used to create an urban landscape harmonizing with neighboring complexes. Sunken plazas, rooftop gardens, and other gathering spaces were planned for public enjoyment, and a pocket park on the north side is also connected to public walkways, providing a green resting place. Neighborhood facilities were planned in street-type, terrace-type, and standalone styles, each optimized for the respective space, and appropriate vehicular and pedestrian circulations were arranged for residential and commercial areas.
