Led by Group Leader Hyosung Lee, Design Group 2 consists of the Urban Impact BU, Hospitality BU, and Smart R&D BU. The Urban Impact BU specializes in expert urban design projects, including pre-negotiation developments, urban environment renewal projects, station area development plans, domestic and international super-tall mixed-use buildings, and creative innovation design projects. The Hospitality BU is responsible for planning hotels, resorts, and a variety of lodging and amenity facilities. The Smart R&D BU focuses on R&D facilities for private and public institutions as well as educational research facilities at universities, both domestically and internationally. Lee oversees these three BUs, with extensive career and experience focusing on large-scale project delivery.
Lee previously worked at ISang Architecture and Han Guk Architecture and Engineers before joining Junglim Architecture in 2008, where he currently serves as Design Group 2 Leader. Notable projects include Incheon Port International Passenger Terminal, Incheon International Airport Terminal 1 Remodeling, Lotte Outlet Buyeo, Lotte Mall Daegu, HL Mando NEXT M R&D Center, LG Sciencepark Magok Phase 2, SK Broadband Gasan Data Center, Naver Data Center Gak Sejong, Wonju Severance Christian Hospital, and Asan Medical Center Cheongna.
