The Incheon Free Economic Zone’s Cheongna International City is a reclaimed area developed around the central Lake Park, Cheongna City Tower, and the artificial canal known as the Cheongna Canal Way. The project site lies along the waterfront of the 50m-wide Canal Way. Following the district unit planning guidelines, the site’s building connects in party-wall configuration with adjacent structures, forming a street axis that integrates with the urban context. The wide walkway placed at the center naturally bridges the previously divided north–south landscape and circulation flow, facilitating vitalization of the street. This walkway connects vertically to the sublevel (B1) of the navigation channel via an external staircase, accommodating the broader urban context.
Galim Tower Suite consists of a two-story podium and the upper part composed within a rectilinear grid, emphasizing centrality through a bilaterally symmetrical form. The upper “officetel” includes 108 units, offered in 75 sq. m. and 55 sq. m. apartment-style layouts suitable for two- to three-person households, maximizing the ratio of exclusive floor area while meeting the requirements of residential buildings for sale. Portions of the first floor and basement are planned as resident-only rest spaces to shape the culture of residents — such as shared living rooms and kitchens, fitness areas for both adults and children — creating a diverse and enriching residential environment.
