CMC University is a project whose basic design was completed in 2022. In Hanoi, the historic cultural city located at the heart of Vietnam, the master plan for CMC University was created to follow the legacy of Văn Miếu (文廟, the Temple of Literature), Vietnam’s first university and shrine established in the 11th century.
The buildings are arranged along a view axis that divides the educational and support zones while connecting the main circulation paths. Acting as a public community space, the convention hall is a core building forming the main axis of the master plan. Behind this, facilities for students’ daily life and activities are located.
