Myungjin Lee, CEO overseeing the Advanced Design Division, stated, “Advanced industrial infrastructure is evolving into a new form of workplace and living space.”
Lee views advanced industrial facilities not merely as production bases, but as complex spaces where technology, people, and cities interlock and operate together.
He notes the trend of production facilities, once pushed to the urban periphery during the Industrial Revolution, now reintegrating into the urban ecosystem. His philosophy is that architecture must design the points of contact.
Lee emphasized, “In a rapidly changing industrial environment, infrastructure must be built on structures that can withstand mid-to-long-term operation and expansion,” adding, “We are focusing on creating flexible spatial platforms that can evolve, prioritizing future scalability over short-term efficiency.”
