Junglim Architecture focused this year on expanding the role of architects by integrating ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) management and technological innovation into tangible design strategies.
During the restoration process for the Gyeongbuk forest fire damage, employees participated in a program where they directly produced and sowed seed balls, establishing a ‘participatory social contribution model’. At the Incheon Asian Architects Congress (ACA21), the firm presented nine architectural solutions themed around sustainability in project form, sharing new directions for eco-friendly architecture.
Technologically, productivity and consistency were significantly enhanced. This was achieved by operating a platform enabling the use of computational design tools and actively introducing AI (artificial intelligence).
