Pusan National Univ. School of Korean Medicine

The Pusan National University Graduate School of Korean Medicine is an R&D-focused graduate school. Since a medical school complex already existed on the site, the design aimed to harmonize with the existing complex while simultaneously expressing the unique identity of the Graduate School of Korean Medicine.

In particular, it was crucial to design a spatial system and research/laboratory facilities that align with the objectives of cultivating new talent in the field of Korean medicine, promoting its development as a national strategic industry, and leading the way in the scientific advancement, standardization, and globalization of Korean medicine.

We created a three-dimensional layout of indoor and outdoor spaces to infuse vitality into the educational facilities, and planned three-dimensional green spaces, such as a medicinal herb garden, tailored to the field of Korean medicine.
