Joint 2nd Place in the International Competition for Spatial Planning in the Seoul Station Area!
jpa. was selected for joint 2nd place—the highest ranking—in the [International Competition for Spatial Planning in the Seoul Station Area] organized by the Seoul Metropolitan Government, as no first-place winner was selected.
With 159 firms registered and 22 final entries submitted, this international competition selected seven firms as finalists in the first round of judging. The winners were then selected through a final review following individual presentations by each firm at Seoul Metropolitan Government during the second round of judging.
The three firms selected for joint second place are JUNGLIM Architecture jpa. (South Korea), MVRDV (Netherlands), and Geoterson Studio (United States).
