M-PLAZA Solaria Hotel Seoul Remodeling

M-PLAZA Solaria Hotel Seoul Remodeling

Located in the heart of Myeong-dong, the M Plaza Building was remodeled through multiple changes in designated use and expansion projects, with the lower floors converted into commercial facilities and the upper floors into a hotel.
As the first hotel in Korea by Japan’s Nishitetsu Group, it was planned as a luxury property and completed as a high-quality remodeling project through close collaboration with the Japanese design firm Nikken Sekkei from the planning stage through to completion.
Despite various challenges—including a short design period, demanding requirements, and building conditions that differed from the blueprints—these issues were resolved through regular and in-depth design consultations.
