DB Learning Center Gymnasium & Library

DB Learning Center Gymnasium & Library

The indoor gymnasium, in collaboration with the adjacent Human Resources Development Center, is equipped with an international-standard basketball court, a coach’s office, a broadcast room, and a strategic analysis room to serve as a training facility for the Wonju DB Promy basketball team during their off-season training camps.
Additionally, it was developed to support indoor sports activities such as fitness, table tennis, billiards, and screen golf, in conjunction with DB Group’s human resources development programs.

Furthermore, the separate document storage facility will serve as a central document management hub, consolidating documents currently scattered across and managed by DB Insurance. Built amidst the natural scenery at the foot of Haeryongsan Mountain (367 meters above sea level), the facilities emphasize horizontal lines as much as possible while breaking down the mass into smaller segments. Terracotta and concrete bricks in gray tones were used as the primary materials.

The security office was designed to provide integrated guidance and security functions for the Human Resources Development Institute and the entire new complex, with signage representing DB Town specifically incorporated into the architecture.
