Located in the heart of the central commercial district of Ungcheon, Yeosu, the site offers a wide range of possibilities due to its convenient accessibility and proximity to a hospital site and commercial area.
Meanwhile, the site, which borders roads on three sides, features a level difference of up to 10 meters. The design technically resolves this 10-meter elevation difference while incorporating it as a design element to create a main courtyard, and interconnects three main buildings that correspond to the three surrounding roads.
To overcome the proportions of the wide, low mass, the mass is segmented, and vertical design elements are actively utilized to balance the proportions.
