Set to Introduce “9 Architectural Solutions for a Sustainable Tomorrow”
Junglim Architecture & Associates (hereafter Junglim Architecture) will participate in the exhibition at the ‘21st Incheon Asian Architects Congress (ACA21)’, held at Songdo Convensia in Incheon from September 10 to 12. Under the theme ‘Junglim for Tomorrow’s Earth’, it will present nine sustainable architectural solutions.
ACA21, jointly hosted by the Korean Institute of Registered Architects and Incheon Metropolitan City, is Asia’s largest architecture event. Architects and experts from 24 member countries of the Architects Council of Asia (ARCASIA) will participate. Under the main theme “A Better Tomorrow,” keynote lectures, forums, exhibitions, and citizen participation programs will run for five days.
Junglim Architects’ exhibition is centered around nine architectural solutions for a sustainable tomorrow where cities and nature coexist. Representative projects embodying these solutions include: ▲NAVER Data Center Gak Sejong ▲PyeongChang Olympic Stadium ▲National Children’s Museum.
Lee Myeong-jin, CEO of Junglim Architects, stated, “Strengthening sustainable design and embracing smart technology are key strategies for architecture to achieve net-zero goals.” He added, “Junglim Architects has sought practical solutions for a better tomorrow through diverse design approaches like urban regeneration, modular construction, and digital transformation. This exhibition will share our accumulated sustainable design practices and serve as a platform to explore architecture’s potential.” Meanwhile, Junglim Architects’ exhibition is located in the ‘Sponsor Zone’ within Hall 1 of the ACA21 exhibition venue and is free to visit.
