JUNGLIM Architecture a comprehensive architectural firm, has published the first sustainability report in the architecture industry, once again demonstrating its pioneering role in ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) management. This report was prepared in accordance with international ESG disclosure standards and consists of substantive and concrete content made possible through company-wide participation.
CEO Myungjin Lee stated, “For 58 years, JUNGLIM Architecture has maintained transparent and trustworthy management, serving as a model for the industry,” adding, “This report is an important achievement demonstrating that Jeonglim Architects is fulfilling its responsibilities at the forefront of ESG management and striving for a sustainable future.” He further noted, “As this is the first report of its kind in the architecture industry, it goes beyond mere declarations to specifically detail our ethical management system and eco-friendly architectural practices.” He added, “We have enhanced information accessibility by including various publicly available resources—such as the CM Business Standards Manual, AutoCAD and BIM guidelines, and the free ‘Jeongchul Kim’ typeface for architects—which were previously published as part of our social contribution efforts. We hope these resources will be of practical help to the architecture industry and small-scale ateliers.”
JUNGLIM Architecture has established itself as a leader in ethical management and eco-friendly architecture within the industry. With numerous awards for eco-friendly architecture to its credit, the firm has raised industry standards through the design of iconic Korean landmarks such as the Chunju Hall in the Blue House Main Building, the National Museum of Korea, the Seoul World Cup Stadium, and Starfield Hanam.
