E-Land Fashion Integrated Distribution Center, Cheonan

E-Land Fashion Integrated Distribution Center, Cheonan

Acknowledging that the logistics industry’s development is directly linked to national competitiveness, the government established policies in 2011 to foster the logistics industry and secure Northeast Asian logistics hubs. Accordingly, logistics facilities surpassing traditional forms and scales have been planned. The E-Land Fashion Cheonan Integrated Distribution Center is the largest of its kind in South Korea and aims to differentiate itself from existing logistics centers in various ways. Notably, it adopted a radically new dock system that allows vehicle access on every floor, prioritizing smooth logistics flow. To break away from the typical logistics center image, ramp exposure on the exterior was minimized.

For efficient storage and shipping flow, vehicle circulation is arranged on the outer perimeter of every floor, with storage warehouses situated inward. Each floor’s warehouse includes offices and break rooms to enhance management and operational efficiency, while dedicated office facilities and employee cafeterias are located on the south side. A large deck in front of the employee cafeteria provides staff with a space to connect with nature and relax.
