The Nonghyup Anseong Training Center is the hub of the NH Cluster (which includes Anseong Farmland and the Future Nonghyup Support Center). Here, Nonghyup operates a state-of-the-art education system to nurture self-reliant young farmers and prepare for the future of agriculture. The NH Young Farmers Academy is a hub where young farmers can learn, interact, and nurture their dreams. The diverse, interdisciplinary spaces here foster the creative growth of young farmers and help them establish a sense of community among rural residents and farmers. The building fulfills a social role by bridging the past and present of agriculture with the future of farming. In terms of its contextual relationship with the surrounding area, the Nonghyup Young Farmers’ Academy is a structure designed with active consideration of its connections to various elements (the Anseong Education Center main building, dormitory building, Anseong Farmland, natural environment, roads, etc.). Accordingly, the planned organic master plan provides users with a logical spatial sequence and creates rest areas within the building where they can enjoy and linger amidst the diverse natural surroundings. The abundant open spaces, both interior and exterior, form a Youth Farmers’ Academy that embraces nature.
