The current main gate of Seoul Racecourse has an imposing appearance with its brick walls and tiled roof, but because it is intermingled with the parking lot and is relatively small, it fails to fulfill its role as a main entrance. To shed the negative image associated with gambling in the past and transform into a new identity, a project was undertaken to propose the new brand name “LET’S RUN PARK” and renovate the main and middle gates. First, a three-dimensional circulation route was selected to prevent congestion. The goal was to present a new main gate by integrating various horse racing-themed facilities, a theme park, and visitor amenities into a single, continuous circulation route.
