National Tax Officials Training Institute, in Jeju Inno-City

This project was initiated to relocate three National Tax Service agencies—the National Tax Service Training Institute, the Liquor Licensing Support Center, and the Customer Satisfaction Center—to Jeju Innovation City, a region blessed with a pristine natural environment. The site required integration with the abundant natural landscape, and the design needed to align with the city’s landscape framework while considering the visual axis connecting to Gogeun Mountain and Beomseom Island. Given these site conditions, the design focused on creating a distinctive architectural plan that reflects both the symbolic image of the National Tax Service agencies and the unique characteristics of Jeju, while also requiring a rational zoning plan to accommodate the integration of multiple agencies. It is anticipated that this project will lead the transformation of future educational environments and serve as a new paradigm as a state-of-the-art training center that embodies the natural beauty of Jeju.
