The Munmak Resort Complex will be developed on a site of approximately 200,000 square meters within the 2.7 million square meter area of Biduri, Munmak-eup. Key facilities include golf-related amenities such as a golf course and clubhouse; lodging options such as condominiums, townhouses, and detached housing complexes; recreational facilities such as guesthouses, observation decks, and botanical gardens; as well as a convention center, wellness facilities, and an equestrian center. As a landmark for the Gangwon Province region, this project was executed with a high-end marketing strategy and a classic, luxurious concept to reflect the diverse needs of tourists. The design concept unifying the entire complex is “Château” (French for “castle”), which draws on the unique characteristics of southern France, a region with a long history of cultural and artistic development. The buildings within the resort complex utilize natural materials and create exotic interior and exterior spaces through distinctive architectural styles, forming a dynamic, balanced, and majestic structure.
