JUNGLIM Architecture + Meier Architects Wins “Grand Prize” in the General Architecture Category!!
On Tuesday, June 23, the “2025 Seoul Metropolitan Government Outstanding Design Anthology Awards Ceremony” was held at Taepyeong Hall in the Seoul Gallery, located in the basement of Seoul City Hall.
At this awards ceremony, JUNGLIM Architecture received the Grand Prize in the General Architecture category for the office building reconstruction project at 36-1 Yeouido-dong (Kiwoom Finance Square headquarters), which was carried out in collaboration with Meier Architects.
This award is part of the “Architectural Review Project Documentation Initiative,” through which the Seoul Metropolitan Government identifies, documents, and shares outstanding designs from cases reviewed by the Architectural Committee with the aim of strengthening the city’s competitiveness. Previously conducted annually through the publication of a booklet, the event was expanded to include an awards ceremony starting this year. Notably, a new evaluation process was introduced this year to further enhance fairness: candidates were first selected through a preliminary review by experts and a practical assessment, and the final winners were determined through expert judging and a public vote.
