B2 blocks of Hwaseong Taean District 3 are surrounded by Yonggunneung (World Cultural Heritage), Yongjusa Temple (Treasure No. 1942), and Mannyeonje (Designated Cultural Heritage) as historic and cultural environment preservation zones. This situation on the ground had to address many legal restrictions and design issues on how to solve the plan in a humanities way. Through King Jeongjo In-In-Hwa-rak story, which is the founding concept of Suwon Hwaseong Fortress, the complex differentiated the complex by utilizing open layout, reasonable unit-generation planning, and community elements that can mingle together.
