Baguio, Philippines, is a high-altitude city located 250 km north of the capital, Manila, at an elevation of 1,600 meters. It enjoys a consistently cool climate and is often referred to as the “Summer Capital”; in fact, the Philippine government relocates its administrative operations to Baguio during the summer. We aim to establish a retirement community here—a region boasting the Philippines’ best public safety and educational conditions—targeting foreign retirees, particularly Korean retirees, as well as affluent Filipinos seeking a second home.
