Located in Yangjae-dong, Seoul, The-K Hotel Seoul (formerly the Seoul Education and Culture Center) sits at the gateway to the city. For many years, the site has served as a major hub for culture, sports, and academia. While situated within the Gangnam urban area, it has managed to preserve its beautiful natural landscape thanks to various legal regulations.
To maximize the site’s strengths, a new brand, The-K Hotel Seoul, was created. By reconfiguring the existing building—separating the accommodation facilities (main building) from the sports facilities (sports center)—a large-scale convention facility capable of accommodating approximately 5,000 people simultaneously was planned.
