Sun Cruise Resort and Pool Villa

Sun Cruise Resort and Pool Villa

A ship floating atop a mountain, with sheer cliffs below and a beach that juts inward; a blue sky and a crystal-clear emerald sea; and a place where one can gaze upon the rising sun. It is a location where the challenges to be addressed are as numerous as the beautiful natural surroundings. The client hoped it would become a new landmark, distinct from the pool villas and vacation rentals currently being built in Korea with various concepts. They wanted the property to be located close to the sea, with the ocean and the pool seamlessly blending together as one. Therefore, great care was taken to create a space that feels as though the sea is embraced within it, and the design was planned to maximize the site’s advantages by ensuring that the sunrise can be viewed from every guest room. Additionally, to create a romantic yet comfortable atmosphere for travel and relaxation that contrasts with the sky, sea, and trees, a white color palette was chosen as the primary exterior color for the entire building.
