MBC Yeouido Studio

MBC Yeouido Studio

The MBC Yeouido Studio shows how mass media integrated into the daily life of modern Korea. The design and material techniques used for the building’s exterior and interior create a grand yet soft impression. The round shaft (vertical passage) facing the road visually reflects MBC’s identity based on communication and connection. The vibrant and rich colors produced by the purple tiles and reflective glass evoke the image of a “crystal in a concrete jungle.” This breaks away from the constraints of white architecture modernism and symbolizes the progressive image of the media in a dynamically changing Korean society, while also embodying a lively, urban expression and sensibility.
