Starting as a regional hospital with 50 beds, Korea University Ansan Hospital has grown into a 600-bed general hospital. As the central hospital of Ansan City, it plays a pivotal role in regional healthcare.

Celebrating its 30th anniversary this year, Korea University Ansan Hospital aims to expand to 1,200 beds and provide high-quality medical services through the establishment of a mid- to long-term master plan. As a first step, the hospital plans to secure additional beds and develop into a regional emergency medical center to alleviate inconveniences for citizens, while also expanding its research facilities and dormitories to lay the foundation for a research-oriented hospital.
