Located in Daewol-myeon, Icheon-si, Gyeonggi-do, this facility is part of the “Happy Moa” project for people with disabilities, a subsidiary of SK Hynix. Launched as a platform to embody the SK Group’s social responsibility, this project operates as a workplace for people with disabilities that places them at the center of employment. It aims to empower them through autonomous employment and to supply SK Hynix campus employees with baked goods—the fruits of their learning and labor.

Based on the “Floating Factory” concept—which distinguishes it from conventional production facilities—the design sought to create a structure where people, as the core of the workplace, are grounded in the earth, rather than the facility itself being the primary focus of production.
