Hannam Univ. Master Plan

Hannam Univ. Master Plan

In the face of an era of fierce competition characterized by globalization, openness, and digitalization, Hannam University is preparing for a second leap forward to redefine its competitiveness and founding principles. The university has established a new vision, “New Vision 2012: Harmony of Christianity and Cutting-Edge Technology,” and aims to grow not only as a central institution for regional development but also as a Christian university representing Asia. To meet the demands of this new era, it is deemed necessary to develop a campus master plan that, from a macro perspective, efficiently and rationally reorganizes the facilities on the current campus and presents a new, future-oriented direction for development. The purpose of this master plan is to enable Hannam University to realize its founding ideals—education, research, an intellect that leads the times, and a global outlook. To achieve this, the plan analyzes the physical and environmental characteristics of the existing campus. It proposes a plan to expand facilities to address deficiencies, suggests new programs to enable the university to grow as a hub for regional development, and designs outdoor spaces that define the campus’s character. Through these measures, the plan presents a rational master plan that aligns with Hannam University’s new vision.
