A new city is planned for the area surrounding Lake Habbaniya in Al Anbar Province, located west of Baghdad, the capital of Iraq, as part of the country’s post-war reconstruction efforts. The development integrates residential, public, religious, educational, cultural, and sports facilities. The central commercial district features an IT center, a financial center, hotels, department stores, and shopping malls. To enhance the city’s healthcare standards, plans include a 400-bed university hospital, a general hospital, and small-scale medical facilities in each block. A comprehensive educational network has been established, with kindergartens and elementary schools in each block, middle and high schools in each district, and universities and technical education centers throughout the city.
