With the Central Library—the heart of the campus—serving as the main axis, the Student Union Building (Yangji Hall) is situated to the right, while the Main Administration Building (Hyechon Hall) lies along a parallel axis. This arrangement ensures a natural connection to the existing campus hierarchy and primary circulation routes. The multipurpose sports facility, capable of hosting basketball, volleyball, and handball, can be transformed into an arena-style gathering space with a capacity of 1,200 seats by utilizing retractable and movable seating.
The golf driving range and martial arts hall planned for the basement level are designed to support departmental classes and faculty physical activities, while the 170-pyeong fitness center will be open as a fitness facility for students, faculty, and local residents. The exterior design of the gymnasium employs forms and materials that harmonize with the existing campus. To embody both an academic campus atmosphere and a high-tech image, the design features a horizontal eave roof, columnar arrangements, and a combination of metal and ceramic materials. We look forward to the new gymnasium becoming a new landmark on campus upon its completion.
