The project involved studio design and planning for complex traffic flow to ensure efficient broadcasting and a diverse range of programs.
The underground public hall serves not only as a broadcasting space but also as an open cultural venue, which is truly welcome news given the shortage of cultural spaces. In particular, with the hope that it will play a leading role in local culture by improving the image of the area—which has been associated with a cluster of outdated cram schools and entertainment districts—the design incorporates various functions such as musicals, concerts, film screenings, and seminars to create a comprehensive entertainment facility.
The views of the Han River and the city skyline from the Sunken Garden—which connects the two Samji Parks to the underground art hall—and the rooftop garden have become a space that everyone wants to experience at least once.
