In October 2006, E-Land Group acquired Carrefour Korea Co., Ltd. and reopened it under the name Homever(Currently, Homeplus).
It is designed to serve as a mixed-use complex that seamlessly integrates recreational facilities (such as a golf driving range) with retail spaces (such as a large discount store). Located in the heart of the residential area of Gangdong-gu, the Homever Cheonho branch—scheduled to open in October 2008—will create a landscape that harmonizes with the surrounding skyline. As a landmark for the local community, it will serve as a communal space where residents can enjoy a variety of leisure activities.
