“Living with climate change”
9 Architectural solutions

The “Korea Architecture Fair & Festival 2024,” hosted and organized by the Korean Institute of Architects, is scheduled to take place from October 16 to 18—a period of approximately three days—in Hall B on the first floor of COEX in Gangnam. Now in its 19th year, the event—centered on the theme “Connecting”—will consist primarily of promotional exhibitions by participating companies and related forums. JUNGLIM Architecture is preparing to participate in both the promotional booth and the forum under the theme “Living with Climate Change.”

Through this exhibition, JUNGLIM Architecture will present “Nine Architectural Solutions” for addressing the climate crisis, illustrated through relevant projects. The firm also plans to introduce its ESG policies—which it has developed and is implementing—via videos and other materials. Additionally, the firm will showcase the winning entries from the 2024 JUNGLIM Student Architecture Award, which was held under the theme “Today’s Architecture for Tomorrow’s Earth.”

In addition to the exhibition, JUNGLIM Architecture Design Division Head Hyunchul Ki will deliver a presentation as the second speaker at the thematic forum held on the first day of the Korea Architecture Industry Expo. During the exhibition period, Sieum An from the Complex Cluster Business Unit and Hyunjoong Yong from the Big Tech Business Unit will lead docent programs for visitors at our exhibition booth.

Admission to this exhibition is free throughout the exhibition period. Visitors can pre-register by scanning the QR code on the “Korea Architecture Fair & Festival 2024” poster or by visiting the official website; alternatively, free admission is available on-site through a simple registration process on the day of the event.

Additionally, at our exhibition booth, we will be offering gifts—merchandise created specifically for this exhibition’s theme—and a brief brochure introducing and documenting the exhibition to visitors who complete a survey. We hope you will join us in this meaningful exhibition, which aims to raise awareness about climate change and highlight JUNGLIM Architecture contributions and the role of architecture in addressing this issue. We look forward to your visit and support.
