On Wednesday, February 25, the 35th Executive Committee of the Korean Institute of Architects was officially inaugurated at the “68th Annual General Meeting and Inauguration Ceremony of the Korean Institute of Architects,” held at the POSCO The Sharp Gallery in Gangnam-gu.
hyungjae.lee and Kyunghoon Kim of JUNGLIM Architecture were appointed to this leadership team. hyungjae.lee will serve as Vice President for Regional Affairs, and Kyunghoon Kim will serve as Vice President for Future Strategy, and they plan to work toward the advancement of architectural culture.
Ahead of the Association’s 70th anniversary, the new leadership team plans to explore new roles for architecture amid a changing environment characterized by AI, the climate crisis, and digital twins.
