After majoring in architecture at university, Kim Seonjin majored in economics while working in the Planning and Budget Office of a central government ministry and earned a master’s degree in public administration from a graduate school of public administration. During the first supervisory engineer training in the early days of the supervision industry, he received an excellence award from the then-Minister of Construction Kim Wooseok. After leaving public office due to agency mergers, he diligently served as a chief supervisory engineer for 20 years, mainly overseeing educational and research facilities, public buildings, sports facilities, and apartments.

Based on his accumulated knowledge and experience, he joined Junglim Architecture in February 2015 to be a partner and foundation for the “100-Year Junglim.” He served as chief supervising engineer (supervisory team leader) for major projects such as Wolgye District 4 Housing Redevelopment Project, Gwangju-Sansu District 1 Housing Redevelopment Project, and the new construction of The Mark One Industrial Knowledge Center in Incheon.

“Going forward, to proactively manage risks anticipated from changes in construction site environments and regulatory systems, I plan to implement field management, administrative and technical support, as well as planning and education aimed at risk prevention.”
