Goyang City, located in northwestern Seoul and poised to become a hub for unification and global exchange, is an ideal location for planning a second international exhibition complex; this project involves the planning of sports facilities within the Goyang International Exhibition Complex. As part of an international exhibition complex set to be developed into a global hub for culture, exhibitions, leisure, entertainment, and tourism, the planned sports facilities\u2014which will serve as key elements of leisure and entertainment\u2014aim to foster organic synergy among the various facilities through the convergence of world-class sports and entertainment. They will also serve as a mecca for flagship sports attractions.
