Rather than focusing on the sculptural qualities of the site itself, the design emphasizes urban form in relation to the streetscape and urban context of the central district, as well as the building\u2019s role as a landmark.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Since most of the surrounding apartment buildings are constructed of concrete, it was deemed necessary to achieve harmony with the surrounding environment while also introducing open, dynamic forms and creating a sense of urban scale and ventilation.
