{"id":7744,"date":"1983-01-01T15:01:00","date_gmt":"1983-01-01T06:01:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/junglim.com\/?p=7744"},"modified":"2026-07-01T19:39:40","modified_gmt":"2026-07-01T10:39:40","slug":"royal-building","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/junglim.com\/en\/royal-building\/","title":{"rendered":"Royal Building"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<div class=\"wp-block-group pjtText is-layout-constrained wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\"><div class=\"wp-block-group__inner-container\">\n<p>Adjoining the rear plaza of the Sejong Center for the Performing Arts,&nbsp;Royal&nbsp;Building&nbsp;was&nbsp;initiated&nbsp;as&nbsp;part&nbsp;of&nbsp;Seoul\u2019s&nbsp;redevelopment&nbsp;program&nbsp;in&nbsp;the&nbsp;1980s&nbsp;aimed&nbsp;at&nbsp;improving&nbsp;the&nbsp;downtown&nbsp;environment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The composition of the central high-rise section and the lower&nbsp;wings&nbsp;on both sides achieves a visual harmony, while the continuous horizontal windows \u2014 repeating the same pattern with the main entrance as a focal point \u2014 form a unified fa\u00e7ade perceived as a stable, balanced flow. To enhance thermal&nbsp;performance, the proportions of the windows were adjusted according to orientation.
