The nearby sites,&nbsp;roughly 80m-wide, penetrating east-west, are divided into 2 or 4 lots per block, with masses paired in twos across each block \u2014 until reaching this&nbsp;project&#8217;s&nbsp;site, which occupies one full block and disrupts that rhythm. The design&nbsp;maintains&nbsp;contextual continuity while formalizing the pride and image of the regional&nbsp;Chungchong&nbsp;Bank&#8217;s headquarters, aiming to elevate its landmark presence.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Capital Tower mass consists of three parts, each five-story tall, forming a stepped fa\u00e7ade that diminishes in size toward the upper levels. Verticality is emphasized from top to bottom, making the tower appear taller than its actual height, due to uniformly dense arrays of tall vertical windows and partitions. On the west fa\u00e7ade, the&nbsp;gently-curving&nbsp;glass wall reflecting light and the blue-toned planar glass add variations to the building\u2019s granite-finished fa\u00e7ade structure while creating cozy harmony; the granite&#8217;s solidity paired with the glass&#8217;s clarity evokes a summer sky.
