{"id":6136,"date":"2011-10-21T08:37:00","date_gmt":"2011-10-20T23:37:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/junglim.com\/?p=6136"},"modified":"2026-04-02T17:01:29","modified_gmt":"2026-04-02T08:01:29","slug":"chuncheon-national-univ-library","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/junglim.com\/en\/chuncheon-national-univ-library\/","title":{"rendered":"Chuncheon National Univ. of Education Library"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<div class=\"wp-block-group pjtText is-layout-constrained wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\"><div class=\"wp-block-group__inner-container\">\n<p>The library site is situated on the slopes of a valley within the National University of Education campus in Chuncheon, a lakeside city.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The design plan was developed to actively utilize the valley site, ensuring that the natural scenery viewed from the library creates a dramatic effect while preserving the beautiful valley environment and connecting with the context of the university, where most buildings are brick structures.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>By minimizing civil engineering work and adopting a layout that follows the natural contours of the hillside, the design creates a new face for the campus with a fa\u00e7ade that reflects the entry axis and an axis facing the open space on the west side.
